The above exchange may be purely fictional, but Mark never was shrewd in his business skills during the initial years of Facebook. He was the  geek who could code, and sticking to the characteristic of many who fits the bill, was not much comfortable with social interactions and public appearances. In 12 years, today, he is one of the richest and successful businessman who has built an empire around the world with 1.71 billion followers, and with a personal net worth of $51.6 billion .
